The Outfit hired me to create a series of commercials for Andrex Washlets. They wanted films that felt like real documentaries.  

I wrote many of the scripts from the initial brief. We cut the spots just like I would a documentary. We interviewed genuine members of the public, not actors and didn't tell them what to say. We actually cherished the funny or negative comments as they created the comedy.

The first campaign was 1 x 1', 5 x 30" (+ 6 longer webi-sodes) on Channel 4. Andrex loved them and commissioned us to more the next year in a bigger slot - ITV primetime show Splash. This was 4 x 30" (+ longer webisodes)

The Second Life of Amy Archer is a new thriller from author RS Pateman.   

A 10 year old girl goes missing. 10 years later Amy is back, but she hasn't aged a day. Is she a ghost, impostor or cruel trick? Do you trust your head or your heart?

The novel is partly set in my local park, Kennington, South London. I wanted an unsettling atmosphere so we filmed an empty swinging swing in slo mo, on a slider. Making the missing posters actually gave me the creeps.
